Coached Workout Description
At the January 15th informational and workout session, bring your swim suit, goggles and be ready to get in the pool. (If you cannot attend this session please make special arrangements with coach Bohlen). At this session, we will have everyone swim a 100-yard freestyle for time. Also, we will be evaluating skill levels for lane assignment purposes.
During the first session on January 8, coach Bohlen provided four workouts for swimmers to use, depending on their ability level. These workouts are available [here].
Why come out at 7am?
Be encouraged, meet new friends, get better, get stronger, have fun! This is a stroke development and refinement program, not swim lessons. Be prepared to grow and improve as an all-around swimmer!

How much
A recommended donation of $2 for students and $4 for adults is suggested. Friends of Plaza Pool members can participate for free.

Prerequisite
All swimmers must sign a liability release at the January 15th or January 29th session (ages 12-17, bring a parent to first workout).This weekly workout program will be augmented with educational and social opportunities. Additional activities to develop nutritionally, athletically and overall wellness will be made available to all participants. Those completing Session I (January 29 - June 4) will receive an official program-logo swim cap! Additional information is available on this website [here].
